One of Christina Grimmies most successful videos on YouTube was a rendition of Just a Dream by the rapper Nelly.Her dreams have a good shot at coming true on Tuesday at 8 p.m., when Grimmie, 20, and the world will find out if the singer goes home with The Voice title and a recording contract with Universal Records.
The singers competition in the NBC shows Final 3 are Josh Kaufman, a contemporary pop artist, and Jake Worthington, who favors country.Her path to accomplishing one of the greatest achievements of her life has been one full of hope, relief and joy. The YouTube sensation, who attended Cherokee High School in Evesham, has already won over many people throughout the world and established a large and loyal fan base.
I am so proud of Christina and all that she has accomplished so far in her life, said her brother, Marc Grimmie. She deserves absolutely everything that she has obtained because she works so hard for it. There isnt one instance that I can recall where my sister didnt give it her all. Whenever I see her, shes playing video games, watching Netflix or working on music. She loves music and her abilities are far beyond her years.
Her rise to the finals of the NBC show has included numerous highlights: Her rendition of Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus turned the chairs of all four judges: Adam Levine, Shakira, Blake Shelton and Usher. She survived two battle rounds against Joshua Howard and Sam Behymar. She performed I Wont Give Up by Jason Mraz in honor of her mother, which moved many viewers throughout America.
That was a really powerful song, said Marc Grimmie. My mom has been battling some health issues and the whole way through has been supportive of (Christina). I know my mom has been a big influence in my sisters life.s emotional performance grabbed the attention of Mraz, who tweeted about the soulful vocalist after watching her performance: Beautiful performance of my favorite song by my favorite new singer.
Other highlights have included a performance of How to Love by Lil Wayne, which brought the superstar rapper to Twitter as well. Arguably Grimmies most impressive performance on the show, however, came from a cover of Drakes Hold On, which soared on the iTunes charts.
Her arrangement of the song was one that got many people talking and impressed members of her family.
I dont really listen to rap, so the song made me question her decision at first, said her brother. (Christina) told me that this song was going to work for her, so I waited and watched and man, I was impressed. I didnt know what she was going to do with a rap song, but she nailed it. Ill never doubt a decision she makes ever again.
Grimmies Top 5 performances of Hide and Seek Whatcha Say by Jason Derulo and Some Nights by fun. placed her in the bottom 3; however her rendition of by Timbaland featuring OneRepublic saved her. Grimmies fans helped The Voice set the all-time record for tweets received during a television broadcast by tweeting,

A viewing party was held at Otts Greentop in West Berlin, Camden County, during the Top 5 performances, where many of Grimmies friends and family gathered to watch.
Christina was always friendly to whoever she met, said Carli Lennon, a former classmate. s so modest about her talents and down to earth. Its awesome to see someone from (Evesham) make it so far in a competition like that.
